Walking Dead's David Morrissey starring new BBC show, Daddy Issues

Walking Dead alum David Morrissey is an actor and filmmaker who has been referred to as "one of the most versatile English actors of his generation." Fans of The Walking Dead know this man can act as his portrayal of the vile Governor in the series was quite a stretch from his jovial personality.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Morrissey and Aimee Lou Wood (Sex Education) will lead a new series called Daddy Issues that filmed in Stockport which has become known as the Hollywood of the North. The six-part BBC series was created by Danielle Ward, a well-known British stand-up comedian and writer. Ward, Morrissey, and Wood executive produce with Damon Beesley, who directs with Caterine Morshead.
The story follows 24-year-old Gemma, who finds herself pregnant after a random hook-up. She then turns to her father, Malcolm (Morrissey), who is recently divorced and living in squalor. Realizing they need each other's help, they decide to move in together.
Additional cast includes David Fynn, Sharon Rooney, Sarah Hadland, Taj Atwal, Lauren O'Rourke, and Arian Nik.
David Morrissey to lead stage productions of Harold Pinter plays
Playbill reports that Morrissey will be the lead in double bill productions of the Harold Pinter plays The Love and The Collection, which Lindsay Posner will direct. The performances begin March 28 and continue through April 20 at The Theatre Royal, Bath's Ustinov Studio.
The Lover is a one-act that explores private desires and features a wife, a husband, and a lover with all of them playing an unexpected role for the others.
The Collection follows Harry and Bill and James and Stella, two couples whose stories become intertwined when Stella confesses to James that she had a one-night affair. He becomes obsessed with meeting the man. Harry and Bill receive an anonymous phone call, which leaves them unsettled. James is then presented with multiple versions of what transpired, which makes the "truth" even more unclear.
