Living Dead Weekend will take place June 7-9 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and Walking Dead director and SFX master Greg Nicotero will be in attendance.

This year's event will be held in the historic Monroeville Mall, which was the set and filming location of George A Romero's Dawn and the Dead (1978). The event will feature a long list of celebrity guests, movie location tours, cosplay, vendors, a VIP party, panels, photo ops, and more.

The Living Dead Weekend runs Friday to Sunday, with tickets starting at $20 for a single-day admission. Check out the event site for ticket and photo op purchases.

The Monroeville Mall is home to The Living Dead Museum, which celebrates zombies in pop culture. The museum offers a visual history of zombies with displays of props and memorablia, interactive experiences, and a zombie gift shop.

The guest lineup includes those involved in undead pop culture, from lead actors to those who work behind the scenes. Additional guests joining Nicotero include Tom Savini, Fred Dekker, Tom Atkins, Howard Berger, Michael Gornick, and many more.

Nicotero shared his excitement about the event on social media, accompanied by cool artwork by Michael Broom. According to his post, he experienced some recent health issues but is now back on his feet and ready to return to his hometown for the event.
