Actor J.D. Evermore has starred in many roles throughout his career. Walking Dead fans remember him as Harley, a member of the Claimers from season 5. He is well known for his other roles in Rectify, Cloak & Dagger, and the recent Breakwater. Now fans can see him in a new horror, Suitable Flesh, airing on Shudder.

The story is written by Dennis Paoli and is based on the short story by H.P. Lovecraft, "The Thing on the Doorstep" from 1937. Paoli is known for his work on Stuart Gordon's Re-Animator and From Beyond. Joe Lynch directs Suitable Flesh and previously directed Mayhem, starring TWD's Steven Yeun and Wrong Turn 2: Dead End.

The movie follows the story of a psychiatrist who becomes obsessed with a young patient. This leads to the discovery of an ancient curse, which takes her on a wild ride of multiple personalities.

Starring Heather Graham as Dr. Elizabeth Derby and Judah Lewis, who previously starred in The Babysitter (2017) and The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020). It also stars Bruce Davidson, Johnathan Schaech, Barabra Compton, and Graham Skipper. J.D. Evermore portrays Detective Ledger, and TWD alum Ann Mahoney plays a woman named Susan.

In addition to The Walking Dead, Cloak & Dagger, and Rectify, Evermore has also starred in Django Unchained, 12 Years a Slave, and Five Days at Memorial.

He has over 100 credits to his name and is also known for his roles as Detective Lutz in True Detective, Thomas Silby in Treme, Holt in Maggie, and Dewey Revette in Deepwater Horizon.

Next he will star in a comedy, Snack Shack, which releases on March 15.

Evermore will also star in the remake of the 1978 cult classic film Faces of Death. The movie also stars Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria) and Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things) with Josie Totah, Charli XCX, and Jermaine Fowler.
