Norman Reedus has a role in the upcoming The Bikeriders movie starring Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, and Jodie Comer, releasing Summer 2024.

Actor Norman Reedus has portrayed a wide range of characters during his career. His role as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead has extended the longest as he has portrayed the crossbow-welding killer of the undead since 2010. His latest role as a character named Funny Sonny in The Bikeriders is one fans will never forget because Reedus has been transformed like never before.
This summer, Reedus will join an all-star cast consisting of Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Mike Faist, Damon Herriman, Emory Cohen, Happy Anderson, Toby Wallace, Karl Glusman, and Beau Knapp. The movie is directed by Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter and Mud) and is inspired by a photography book by Danny Lyon where he chronicled a Midwest motorcycle club, Outlaws Motorcycle Club, from 1963 to 1967 to record the life of an American bike rider.
The film tells of a fictional club, The Vandals, from 1965 to 1973 through the eyes of one of the members' love interests. Kathy (Comer) is married to Benny (Butler) who is loyal to his club and their leader Johnny (Hardy) and lives wild and reckless. Her account showcases the changes over a decant, which transforms into a more sinister gang.

The Bikeriders will be released in theaters on June 21.

This summer will also see Reedus star in the second season of the spinoff The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol. In the first season, Daryl found himself in France, where he encountered many new people, some of whom desperately needed his help. By the end, he had to make a choice: begin his journey home or continue to assist those who needed him in France. Season 2 will feature the return of Carol (Melissa McBride) to the story where she desperately looks for her best friend, Daryl Dixon.
