Watch walking Dead's Tovah Feldshuh in new Netflix #1 romantic comedy, now streaming

Netflix's newest romantic comedy to hold the No. 1 spot on the streamer's TV Shows Top 10 is Nobody Wants This starring Golden Globe nominee Kristen Bell and SAG nominee Adam Brody. The 10-part series was released in September 2024 and has been a favorite binge for rom-com fans. Walking Dead's Tovah Feldshuh also stars.
The series follows outspoken LA-based, sex-and-dating podcaster Joanne (Bell), an agnostic who meets the love of her life, Noah (Brody), a rabbit with the dream of becoming the head of his synagogue. Their attraction was immediate despite the apparent challenges the relationship would entail. Their chemistry and less than 30-minute episodes make this a favorite binge for many Netflix subscribers.
Nobody Wants This is loosely based on the love life of creator Erin Foster, who converted to Judaism before marrying her husband, a practicing Jew. Foster told Netflix that one of the things she finds funniest about love is when it goes wrong.
"“This show really represents how I view love now, which is so different than how I viewed it before,” she says. “Being in a really beautiful, healthy, fun relationship, it made me soften some of my cynicism.”"
The series features Joanne and Adam as they experience love while supporting different outlooks on life and follows their journey to a more serious relationship. Their families, who are not alike at all, become meddlesome and oftentimes sabotaging to their relationship.

Tovah Feldshuh - Recent roles
In Nobody Wants This, Feldshuh portrays Bina, Noah's mother, who is less than thrilled with his choice of companion. She does a fantastic job in the role of a loving and overprotective mother.
Recently she starred in the 2023 mystery drama, Harlan Coben's Shelter, on Prime Video. The series was based on Coben's YA novel centered around Mickey Bolitar. Feldshuh portrayed Elizabeth "Lizzy"/"Bat Lady" Sobek, who is part of an urban legend. The series was canceled after one season.
