Who does Walking Dead's Pollyanna McIntosh play in season 4 of Outer Banks?
By Renee Hansen
Walking Dead universe actress Pollyanna McIntosh, who recently married long-time love Bobcat Goldthwait, returned to the world of the undead in the spinoff of series The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. She reprised her role as Jadis, who was now a member of the CRM (Civic Republic Military). Sadly, Jadis, who has appeared in three series within TWDU, met her demise at the hands of Rick and Michonne in this series. In 2024, McIntosh will be seen in the fourth season of the Outer Banks series, which airs on Netflix.
The action adventure series was created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke for Netflix. Outer Banks premiered on the streamer in 2020 and has since released two more seasons, with the fourth slated for a 2024 release.
Set in the coastal town of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the series follows two groups of rival teens: the wealthy, seasonal "Kooks" and the working-class locals "Pogues." The series begins with the Pogues, who live in an area known as The Cut, who come upon clues to a legendary treasure while searching for clues about their leader's missing father.
The returning cast for season 4 includes Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Rudy Pankow, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Carlacia Grant, Drew Starkey, and Austin North, with Fiona Palomo upgraded to series regular.
Pollyanna McIntosh - Outer Banks season 4
McIntosh has been announced for season 4 of Outer Banks, and her character is named Dalia, who is described as a revolutionary-like leader and worldly baddie on a plunder who comes face-to-face with the Pogues. Additional new cast members for the upcoming season include J. Anthony Crane, Brianna Brown, Rigo Sanchez, and Mia Challis.
In season 3, one chapter of the group's adventures came to a close with season 4 ready to begin the next. Co-creator Josh Pate told TUDUM, “We think about the first three [seasons] as a trilogy, and then we’re starting over on [another sort of] trilogy now." What next? The search for Edward Teach's, aka Blackbeard, treasure. The end of season 3 introduced an elderly man who presented the group with Blackbeard's captain's log, which gives the exact locations of his ship until 1718, when it was shipwrecked. By all accounts, Blackbeard's gold is still lost. Will this log give the Pogues the information needed to discover the long-lost treasure?
In 2011, North Carolina authorities confirmed that Blackbeard's sunken ship was located near Beaufort, 200 miles south of the Outer Banks. With the close proximity and clue in the captain's log, this is the perfect opportunity for the Pogues to use their skills.
Netflix has announced that the fourth season of Outer Banks will see a release date before the end of 2024.
