Who is Lesley-Ann Brandt, who plays Pearl Thorne in The Ones Who Live?

Actress Lesley-Ann Brandt joined The Walking Dead universe in the sixth spinoff of the main series, The Ones Who Live. This series is a continuation of the love story between Rick and Michonne, two characters whose stories began in The Walking Dead series.
Brandt joined the new series as Pearl Thorne, a South African Naval woman who was stationed on submarines and became very good at playing poker. At the onset of the outbreak, she was in Las Vegas, hoping to cash in on her good luck.
Thorne is introduced as a Consignee, the designation given to newcomers who want to enter the hidden city of the Civic Republic. But new arrivals must serve six years working to defend the city against the undead before they are granted access to the Civic Republic, an advanced community with over 200,000 residents.
Lt. Col. Donald Okafor (Craig Tate) is a man who follows his moral compass and reads people well. He encouraged Thorne and her co-worker Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) to join the CRM as soldiers, and after that training, he began conditioning them for leadership.
When the news broke regarding what happened in Omaha, Thorne immediately went to Rick, informing him that what was on the news couldn't be true as Omaha would have seen the horde coming. All she knows is the Civic Republic is alive, and Omaha is dead.
It will be very exciting to see Thorne's role progress throughout the six-part series.
What else does Lesley-Ann Brandt star in?
Brandt is best known for her role as Mazikeen in the Fox/Netflix series Lucifer. She portrayed this character during all six seasons of the series. Recently, she lent her voice talents to Captain Fall, an adult animated series that streams on Netflix as the voice of Liza Barrel.
