Deadline reports that Avaryana Rose has joined the cast of Final Act. The movie, which is currently filming in and around Scranton, Pennsylvania, also features Walking Dead alum Vincent M. Ward.
The horror-thriller is written by Rose (The Caretaker), Tristan Green, who also stars, with Brandon Slagle (Arena Wars), and is directed by Michael Stu (Snow White and the Seven Samurai). Producers for the film include Rob Adkirson (Spirit Springs), Robert Savakinus (Hell House LLC: Lineage), and Jeff Miller (Popeye the Slayer Man).
Rose joins the latest cast members, including Vincent M. Ward alongside Hannah Fierman (V/H/S), and Douglas Tait (Teen Wolf). They join previously announced Tristan Green, Cal Tolentino, Sionne Elise, Rosie Dean, Julian Ford, Ashlyn Johnson, and Ben Stobber. “Chef Von” (Ryan Von Smith) of Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef, a Scranton native, appears in a cameo role.
Final Act follows the story of a group of paranormal investigators hired to look into activity experienced by a new theater owner. The investigators arrival unleashes chaos as a pickaxe welding killer begins to stalk them.
Executive producer Rob Adkirson states, “We are filming in a great old historic theater in Pennsylvania with a superb cast and making a creepy horror whodunit that we think audiences will really dig."
Vincent M. Ward - The Walking Dead and more

Ward was introduced in the third season of The Walking Dead as a member of the group of prisoners discovered by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group at the West Georgia Correctional Facility. Ward portrayed Oscar, alongside Nick Gomez as Tomas, Lew Temple as Alex, and Theodus Crane as Big Tiny. Sadly, all of the prisoners died, but many viewers would love to see a side story about the lives of the prisoners prior to their introduction to the series.
The actor is well known for his roles in Haus of Vicious, The Black Hamptons, and the horror film, which he co-wrote with Thomas J. Churchill, Devilreaux. He can most recently be seen in episodes of Bosch: Legacy, New Jack Fury, NCIS, Fire, and more.
Next, Ward will appear in the second season of the Netflix series Beef, which is expected to be released in 2026. The anthology series is helmed by creator and showrunner Lee Sung Jin and A24, with the first season starring Walking Dead alum Steven Yeun. The second season will feature a new story and new characters. According to Tudum, the inciting incident for the upcoming season: A young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.
