IMDb currently lists him appearing in 174 episodes of The Walking Dead, but that number also includes episodes that he was credited for without actually appearing on screen.
The Walking Dead character who comes in second place is Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). She appeared in 124 episodes of the zombie series, if you're not counting the episodes where she was credited but didn’t appear.
