Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a triple threat in the upcoming weeks with the release of his new film with Jack Quaid, Neighborhood Watch, the premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City on May 4, and his exciting new venture as host of NBC's competition series Destination X.

Destination X is an epic travel adventure reality series developed by TwoFour, a British-based production company, that has already been a big hit in Belgium. Now, the US is getting its version hosted by Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The game transforms Europe into a real gameboard as twelve contestants experience a trip of a lifetime in an ultimate geo-guessing contest. The players travel by bus to new locations, visiting unfamiliar tourist attractions while participating in experiential challenges. Using their knowledge of pop culture, history, geography, and observation skills, they must determine their location. The catch, the contestant who guesses furthest from the actual location is eliminated each round. In the end, the lone winner will receive $250,000.

Destination X premieres on NBC on May 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT following the season premiere of America’s Got Talent.

Destination X marks Morgan's second unscripted series after AMC's Friday Night In With the Morgans, which he hosted with his wife, Hilarie Burton Morgan, during the pandemic.

What's next for Jeffrey Dean Morgan?

On April 25, Morgan's latest project, the crime thriller Neighborhood Watch, premiered in select theaters and on VOD on Prime Video. The movie also stars The Boys actor Jack Quaid and follows the pair as they investigate an abduction in their neighborhood.

The Walking Dead Dead City season 2

On May 4, Morgan's Walking Dead spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City, premieres on AMC and AMC+. The series features Morgan in a reprisal of his role as Negan, along with Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee. This series is set in post-apocalyptic Manhattan, where, in season 2, the duo are, once again, on opposing sides.

Morgan recently appeared in a horror movie, Bloody Axe Wound, which streams on Shudder and voiced Conquest in Robert Kirkman's adult animated series, Invincible.
