If there is one event that can really immerse fans in the world of their fandoms, it is comic conventions. It is really important that fans feel a sense of community inclusion and have the chance to engross themselves in the wonderful world of fandom whenever there’s a comic con around. Luckily, these events have really been on the rise in the past couple of years.

Thankfully, for fans of The Walking Dead, since the series' release back in 2010, there has been a steady stream of conventions where the actors and crew have appeared. These have taken place globally and are always a hit. Who can forget how they dominated San Diego’s famous Hall H for so many years, and let’s not forget the presence the comic book series has had at conventions since the 2003 debut either.

Fans still have the opportunity to meet the actors behind the series, as the appearances show no signs of slowing down. Amongst a wealth of others throughout the year, one approaching gives fans in Europe the chance to meet them once more or for the first time. Germany is set to host another edition of its famous German WalkerCon, where the cast will reunite. Here is all you need to know.

Following on from last year’s success, German Walker Con returns in 2026 to the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. Fans will have the chance to meet guests, grab autographs, take photographs and selfies with the cast and sets, and even get a one-to-one meeting with their favorites for a quieter conversation. It is worth noting that the convention encourages physical tickets.

Turbinenhalle Oberhausen is a repurposed power plant that now hosts live music and festival events. Over the course of the August 29 and 30 weekend, it will be home to all TWD nerdiness fans have been waiting for. The event will be open from 10 AM until 6 PM on Saturday and 10 AM until 5 PM on Sunday, and kids five and under go free—just proof of age is required.

Talents set to appear include Addy Miller, Austin Amelio, Cassady McClincy, Chandler Riggs, Christian Serratos, Daniel Bonjour, Emily Kinney, Emma Bell, IronE Singleton, Josh McDermitt, Katelyn Nacon, Laurie Holden, Lawrence Gillard Jr., Michael Cudlitz, and Tom Payne. All guests are subject to change or cancellation at any time. There will also be vendors there offering merchandise so fans can bring home a piece of the weekend. There will also be select food and drink options available on site.

This is sure to be a fantastic weekend for all involved and one that will bring joy to many hearts. Updates can be found on their official social media pages throughout the duration. This convention is a must-visit for anyone who needs another dose of Walking Dead action.
