Prime  Video recently released first-look images of the Kevin Bacon-led series from Blumhouse Television, The Bondsman. The eight-part thriller will premiere on April 3 on Prime Video. The series follows the story of a man sent back from the dead to do the devil's bidding. Not quite the undead fans of The Walking Dead are used to, but Bacon tells Vanity Fair the series "is very violent and has a lot of blood and scares, but it also has some tongue-in-cheek aspects," which is sure to appeal to many fans of TWD.

Created by Grainger David, The Bondsman features Bacon as Hal Halloran, who, after his death, is resurrected by the devil to hunt and capture the demons who have escaped from Hell. In his second chance at life, Hal contemplates the sins that caused his soul to be condemned and, with the help of his estranged family, who can also be a hindrance, hunts down the devil's missing demons. Hal doesn't plan on wasting his second chance at life, love, and country music.
