Two stars from the biggest franchises on television are about to come together to scare audiences in a new horror movie set to begin filming next month!

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has joined the cast of Takashi Miike's untitled new slasher-horror film, a role that will see him sharing the screen with House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock. As Deadline reports, the duo will star alongside what is shaping up to be quite an all-star cast, which also includes Charli xcx, Kiko Mizuhara, and Sho Kasamatsu.

Interestingly, details about Reedus’s character have not been revealed, but we do know that the film, which is operating under the title of Untitled Kyoto, will center around three best friends who come together in Kyoto in hopes of rekindling their friendships. What starts out as a fun girls’ trip quickly spirals into a nightmare situation when Charli xcx’s character, Katie, is possessed by a violent spirit.

Regardless of who Reedus ends up playing in the film, it’s going to be a must-see for Walking Dead fans as it’s always a treat when we get to see Reedus taking on roles outside his work as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead franchise. The horror genre, in particular, continues to be one that calls to Reedus, which we absolutely love!

Not only can fans expect to see Reedus back in action as Daryl Dixon for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’s final season, but he’s also been cooking up a few additional projects which should be releasing sometime in 2026, including a new horror film from Darren Aronofsky and Mark Heyman.

Reedus will star alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Phoebe Dynevor in the new horror film Pendulum, expected to arrive sometime later this year. The film will follow Patrick (Gordon-Levitt) and Abigail (Dynevor), a young couple who travel to a new-age retreat and soon begin to question whether the group’s spiritual practices offer genuine healing or if they mask a terrifying truth that could destroy them both. The film will see Reedus starring as the couple’s friend who introduces them to the retreat, hinting he could be close to the mystery at the heart of the film.

He’ll also be reprising his role as Murphy MacManus in The Boondock Saints III, a role he first originated back in 1999 with the release of The Boondock Saints and later reprised in 2009 with The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. The third film in the franchise will see the MacManus brothers released from prison and thrust into a dangerous new world as they face divergent views on where their crusade should take them next.

Needless to say, Reedus is keeping busy, and 2026 will have several new projects for The Walking Dead fans to look forward to watching!
