Walking Dead's Cassady McClincy Zhang cast in new indie series Out Comes the Wolves

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Walking Dead's Cassady McClincy Zhang has been cast in her next role. She is well remembered for her portrayal of Alpha's (Samantha Morton) daughter Lydia from seasons 9-11. Now, she will star in the indie film Out Comes the Wolves.
The drama is the directorial debut of producer Danny Peykoff, known for his work on Kevin Costner's Horizon films and the short film Kenobi: A Star Wars Fan Film. The story is written by Peykoff and Jason and Jamie Neese (Umbrella Academy, Cruel Summer). Out Comes the Wolves is funded by Peykoff's Big New Port Studios, and filming has recently begun in Portland, Oregon.
McClincy Zhang was announced with Orlando Norman, Spence Moore II, and Heidi Grace Engerman. They join previously announced cast members Sam Rechner, West Mulholland and Curran Walters.
The story, set during the 1990s East Bay punk scene, is based on Rancid's And Out Comes the Wolves album.
"Set against the East Bay punk music scene in the mid 1990s, Wolves is a story of grit and dreams in a world of violence and desperation. Norman, Moore, Engerman and Zhang play a tight-knit group of high school friends vying to escape the blighted city in which they live. Getting away isn’t so easy, however, when the streets are full of metaphorical predators and prophets at every turn and the story, following the teens, will ask who manages to get away and who will be devoured when the wolves come out to hunt."
