It is always an exciting time in any Pop Culture fan's calendar when a Comic Convention arrives. And equally so when it features your favorite actors behind some of the most iconic characters. Summer is the season when Conventions are at their best, especially for The Walking Dead fans in the UK this year.
Year after year, Manchester Comic Con has brought many incredible names and talents to the city. However, what makes this event extra special is that they have a heavy TWD presence, so a lot of the merchandise will be themed around our favorite show. Great for fans, but not for the bank!
This year, Manchester Comic Con is turning up the heat by bringing not only lots of cast from The Walking Dead but also the spin-off series Fear The Walking Dead. Fans in the UK will have the chance to expand their autograph and photograph collections with some other long-serving TWDU cast. Here is all you need to know about the thrilling weekend ahead.
The Walking Dead Cast at Manchester Comic Con
A convention run and organized by Monopoly events, Manchester Comic Con promises to be an exhilarating weekend. The event will take place at the BEC Arena in Manchester on July 26-27, from 9 am to 6 pm, across both days. Food and drink options will also be available at the venue.
As always, talent is subject to change and cancellation. Current talent includes Thora Birch, Christian Serratos, Steven Ogg, Tovah Feldshuh, Josh McDermitt, and Michael Cudlitz from the mothership show. The current Fear The Walking Dead guest list consists of Kim Dickens, Garret Dillahunt, and Colby Minifie. Ogg, Serratos, and Dillahunt recently attended The Camp events in the States, where Chandler Riggs revisited an iconic location from his time on TWD.
The guest list doesn't end there: Hayden Christensen, Erin Moriarty, Sean Astin, Manny Jacinto, Will Mellor, and Ricky Tomlinson are just a handful of other names expected to be in attendance. A vast range of exhibitors and official merchandise will be at the event. Schedules for guests and photo op lists are due to be released.
