The Walking Dead has been off air for almost three years now, but that doesn't mean fans aren't missing all of their favorite characters. Sure, you can catch some of them in the various spinoffs. For example, Daryl and Carol are currently off in Spain trying to make their way back home in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3.
Meanwhile, fans can catch Maggie and Negan still trying to survive the chaos of Manhattan’s zombie-infested streets in The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2. Then, there's Rick and Michonne, who finally got the long-awaited reunion everyone's been screaming about for years in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. But what about other beloved characters who are still alive in The Walking Dead universe? What are they up to?

A good example is the character Morgan Jones, who is portrayed by Lennie James. Fans first meet Morgan in the very first episode of The Walking Dead, where he and his young son Duane take in a disoriented Rick and explain the grim new reality of the world. From the start, Morgan stood out as one of the show's most compelling characters. He was once torn between his deep humanity and the unbearable weight of loss.
Over the seasons, fans watched him evolve from a grieving father struggling to cope with his son’s death, to a hardened survivor and eventually into a skilled fighter and reluctant leader. Morgan’s story didn’t end with the original series either. He eventually made the leap to Fear the Walking Dead, where he took on a major role and helped lead an entirely new group of survivors.
The last time we saw him was in the sixth episode of Fear the Walking Dead season 8, where he decided to leave the group behind and return to Alexandria with his daughter Mo to reunite with Rick and the rest of his old friends he left behind. Sadly, he hasn't appeared in any of the other spinoffs.
While everyone's hoping for the original series to return for at least some kind of reunion special or nostalgic one-off, there hasn't been any confirmation of this. However, we’re now getting the next best thing. A brand-new way to see Morgan back in action!
