Fear the Walking Dead on AMC will air its 5th episode and the penultimate episode of the first season this Sunday. Our readers have some thoughts about it.

Based on the poll results of almost 300 of our readers, poor Griselda doesn’t have much of a chance to recover from her critical injury that she received as they fled the barber shop during the chaos of the riots as people were turning and eating other people. Only 5% of those polled were hopeful that Griselda will get the surgery she needs and make a recovery.

Only about 9% of the readers think that the mission of hospital is actually to quarantine the sick and get them the help they need. The readers are divided about whether they think the hospital is doing something mysterious and bad or if they are possibly trying to ascertain the cause of the outbreak to potentially curtail or cure it.

About half of the readers think that Liza left with the doctor because she wanted to make sure that Griselda  and Nick were safe. About a third think that Liza likes the idea of helping and feeling useful and needed. A small portion think that perhaps Liza feels out-of-place with Madison’s family and would be more comfortable as a nurse in the hospital.

About 62% of our readers are showing some confidence in Travis and think he’s seen the light, so to speak. They think he will join Madison and start facing things and questioning more of what he sees. About 38% of the readers aren’t so sure. They think that it might take a little more time for Travis to stop being so wishy-washy.

We shall see what the second-to-the-last episode has to offer on Sunday. Traditionally, on The Walking Dead, some intense things have happened to lead into the finales. I think we have some excitement in store for us these next two Sundays!

And on October 4th,  we get the additional treat of Chris Hardwick and Talking Dead!
