Even though The Walking Dead is very deep into filming the sixth season, there are still some characters that need to be cast for upcoming episodes.

In fact, a recent casting call has AMC searching for two female character that are listed as “guest stars” for season 6.  However, these characters both sound absolutely awesome and could be fantastic additions to the show and are exciting to read about.

Here is the casting announcement according to Spoil The Dead:

"[POLLY] 40s-50s, Cool, controlled, formidable. She’s faced tragedy and trauma and come out the other side stronger and harder. But she’s also become colder and less outwardly emotional — she avoids attachments and maintains a toughly pragmatic, nihilistic worldview… GUEST STAR[MARY] 50s-60s, Like someone’s black sheep biker great aunt. An extrovert with badass Texan charm and a darkly humorous take on life. She knows she’s not long for this world, but doesn’t let that get her down. In spite of Mary’s age and general demeanor, she is not someone you want to mess with…GUEST STAR"

Personally, I don’t think either of these characters really fit anyone in particular from the comics.  However, both Mary and Polly sound like take-no-prisoner type characters.  These are the kind of individuals that you’d expect to be alive and kicking this late during the zombie apocalypse.

At this point, it’s not known if either of these characters will have an extended role on The Walking Dead.  However, it does mean that it is likely that we’ll see multiple other communities introduced during season 6 of the hit zombie survival drama.
