While Rick and the boys of the Walking Dead were kneeling at the trough getting ready to get their heads bashed in by the people of Terminus, they zoomed in on another dead guy that was laying on the table. If you were wondering why they gave the dude a little extra love on the camera, then you might recognize him a little bit from Season 4 Episode 16 of the Walking Dead.
That dude is Alex. Who the heck is Alex?

When Rick and the crew showed up to Terminus, Alex was one of the guys that was in the welcoming crew. As Rick started noticing that these people of Terminus were not legit, he grabs Alex and throws him in front of him in a standoff.
Alex gets caught in the crossfire and gets shot by his people and was now dead on the table. I am sure the Terminus folks were ready to feast on some Alex stew or something like that.
The people of Terminus were not going to let that food go to waste. He was sitting there ready to get sliced up and served on a platter for everyone of the town to grub on.
