Robert Kirkman Hints Daryl Dixon Might Die Soon (Video)

Daryl Dixon is one of the most badass characters in recent television history, but is his run on The Walking Dead about to come to an abrupt end?

If there is one thing The Walking Dead loves to do, it’s break our hearts and take away every happy thing we’ve either had or hoped to have on the series.

This usually comes in the form of killing off a main character or a beloved character, something that happened as recently as the midseason finale of the show. Beth Greene getting killed off in the midseason finale is an event that may spring forth the death of another main character on the series.

In a teaser interview with CNN, The Walking Dead producer and creator Robert Kirkman hinted that Daryl Dixon may be the next major death on the show, or at least the most divesting one yet.

It has been stated by Scottt Gimple that the series could run for 25 seasons by just constantly turning over the cast of characters we come across.

Daryl dying would be cataclysmic for the series though, as in the tiers of important characters, Daryl is up there at the to with Rick and Carol. He may even be higher than Rick out of sheer fan popularity, and the idea of him dying is already sparking riots by fans.

Thanks Robert Kirkman, by killing off Daryl Dixon — even jokingly — you may have set in motion events that truly bring about the zombie apocalypse.
