Norman Reedus Says Daryl Dixon Does Not Die In Season 5

Norman Reedus is never afraid to talk to fans about The Walking Dead, especially when it comes to dispelling rumors of Daryl Dixon’s death.

More from Daryl Dixon

The Walking Dead is clearly not afraid to kill off major character, as we’ve seen in the past — most recently with Beth. But with rumors that someone else’s clock is about to expire, many fans are worrying that Daryl Dixon‘s run on the show might be coming to an and in the near future.

This is already a crazy notion, and it’s one that Norman Reedus confronted directly on Twitter this Christmas, to make sure no one ruined their holiday by worrying about him.

As a Christmas present to fans of The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus shot down rumors that his character may be meeting his demise at some point in the second half of Season 5.

Now, this needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as there’s no way The Walking Dead producers would allow Reedus to spoil something huge if it’s a major plot point in the last eight episodes of the season. There have been rumors that another major character will die before the end of the season, which recently led those ‘trying to sell papers’ to connect the dots back to Daryl.

While this sort of takes the drama out of wondering if Daryl will die, we kind of already know he’s invincible. He should have died so times on the show already and is still kicking around and kicking ass at the same time.

Of course, this could be setting us up for a last minute pivot that sees Daryl get killed, but at this point we can’t trust anything we hear about the show until we actually see it happen.
