The Walking Dead: Norman Reedus discusses Daryl Dixon’s death

The Walking Dead basically revolves around how much of a badass Daryl Dixon is, and his death could be something that breaks the spirit of fans.

Daryl Dixon is beloved like a God on The Walking Dead, and his following is both admirable and scary all at the same time. We’re talking about a group of people that will attack you like a Walker if you dare go against the idea that Daryl is the best character on the show, and that might be a big reason why he’s still alive.

But what if Daryl is ever killed off the show?

Norman Reedus talked to The Wrap about the possibility of Daryl dying, and noted that he just hopes whatever fate he has serves the series well.

"“I hope my character serves the story of the show. Nobody wants to go on the show, because it’s really fun. I think if they ever killed me on the show, I think I wouldn’t want to die. I’d just want to walk up a hill, and walk down a hill. And as I get to the top, a little puppy would come out of the woods and follow me up and over the hill.”"

That’s pretty admirable — and totally a Daryl move.

if Daryl Dixon was ever to be killed off The Walking Dead, we might see an actual zombie apocalypse engulf the globe. There are few characters as beloved as Daryl is on The Walking Dead — which is saying a lot since he wasn’t in the comics.

Comic book readers foam at the mouth when things change from page to screen, but for some reason Daryl seems to be an exception to this. He has a massive following and if he were to ever be killed off, it would be a seminal turning point for the series.

The only question is, will that be a good turn or a bad turn for the series in the long run?
