When Will Fear The Walking Dead Overlap With The Walking Dead?

Fear The Walking Dead is right around the corner from appearing, but when will the episodes line up with The Walking Dead, as advertised by Robert Kirkman?

The series premiere of the AMC spinoff show, Fear The Walking Dead, is right around the corner, but fans have a lot to chew on before that date arrives. For starters, the series has been rumored to be lining up with The Walking Dead, and Robert Kirman confirmed that earlier this week.

With news that it’s going to be lining up with The Walking Dead, fans want to know the new chronology of the series. Before, all we had to go off of was the comic books and where they lined up with what we were seeing on the show, but this adds another layer of mystery to things.

When Fear The Walking Dead premieres later this summer, it’s going to be the beginning of the end of the The Walking Dead. That’s not a comment on the quality of the two series — we hope — but rather an observation of what the story of Fear The Walking Dead will be when it premieres.

So what season will Fear The Walking Dead match up with The Walking Dead?

Frankly, we don’t know as Kirkman failed to identify specifically when the two series will link up. It’s also not going to be a crossover in the traditional sense, rather it’s going to be a continuity crossover in that we’ll get clues of where The Walking Dead timeline is in relation to Fear The Walking Dead.

That all sounds complicated, but it’s really simple. All we have to do is wait for the clues to The Walking Dead within Fear The Walking Dead to know when the timeline sync up. It actually adds an unexpected layer of interest for fans and should make the spinoff series even more valuable than it already was in the universe it will inhabit.
