Thank You Walking Dead, FanSided and Twitter!
By Susie Graham
I wrote a thank you awhile back, but I think you can’t say thank you often enough! Especially when it’s sincere! I am sincerely grateful to The Walking Dead, to FanSided and to Twitter for enriching my life in so many unexpected and surprising ways.
Thank You Walking Dead
- For filling my Sunday nights with excitement, anxiety and joy.
- For filling every day with thoughts about the show and the characters.
- For giving me characters that I can love and hate and even love the ones I hate.
- For giving me something that has become an obsession in ways I never could have imagined.
- For giving me a smart show that makes me think about life and consequences and people and loyalty and family.
- For having actors, writers and crew that treat the material and the fans with such respect and care and attention to detail and have as much fun with us as we have with them.
- For being the phenomenon that is The Walking Dead.
Thank you FanSided
- For being a place where I first got my fix of Walking Dead information through articles and commenting on them.
- For allowing regular people like me to volunteer and blog our opinions and ideas in such a professional and respected setting.
- For being such a professional place with high standards and the fans in mind as the name suggests.
- For introducing me to a great team of people at Undead Walking.
Thank You Twitter
- For embracing my quirkiness and allowing me into your Twitter world representing Undead Walking.
- For introducing me to wonderful people around the country and the world. I even get to practice Spanish sometimes!
- For playing games with me and interacting with me.
- For making me want to do more and more for you because you love The Walking Dead and deserve a fun place to call home.
- For being so positive! Twitter and blogs can be places of snarkiness and negativity and Undead Walking sees none of that!
There are so many great sites and fan sites out there. I hope you check them all out! I love that The Walking Dead is such a family and shares and loves rather than hordes and competes! Undead Walking has been a great experience for me and the place I call home when it comes to The Walking Dead. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
