“Once upon a time”, one of The Walking Dead’s newest cast members worked with one of the show’s veteran cast members on a different hit series. That’s right, Ethan Embry is new to The Walking Dead, but he has an onscreen history with fellow cast member Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha. Both actors played roles on the current ABC series, Once Upon a Time. In the roles of Greg and Tamara, the duo was paired romantically as well as partnered in a covert operation to destroy magic in the storyline of Once Upon a Time.

I wonder how much screen time Martin-Green and Embry will share on The Walking Dead. Will their characters be on friendly terms or opposing sides? I look forward to finding out more when the show returns in October.

As you may recall, this is not the first time actors on The Walking Dead have worked together previously.  Laurie Holden (Andrea), Melissa McBride (Carol), Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale), and Juan Gabriel Pareja (Morales) all worked together on the movie The Mist. Several cast members of The Walking Dead also worked on the HBO series The Wire, including Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese), Lawrence J. Gilliard (Bob), and Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel). We also learned in a recent article about new cast member Merritt Wever that she and Tovah Feldshuh both worked on the long-running show Law and Order.

The Walking Dead certainly has a history of hiring actors that have a shared work history. I imagine this only adds to the family atmosphere  that the cast and crew so often reference. What other resume connections are you aware of within the show? Please share below in the Comments section.
