The Walking Dead season 6 casting call: Orin (Negan?)

The Walking Dead has submitted a casting call for season 6 that is for an upcoming character with the codename “Orin”.  However, a close look at the casting call leads us to believe that this could finally the biggest hint that one of the greatest villains in The Walking Dead’s comic history could be coming to the small screen.

Fans of The Walking Dead have been watching and waiting for Negan and The Saviors to show up for quite a while.  Every time there is a tease, such as a baseball bat or factory, speculation begins again.  This time though, it seems as though it could finally be the real deal.

Our friends over at The Spoiling Dead Fans on Facebook got their hands on the casting call from Spoil The Dead.  The call is for the season 6 season finale and will be filmed from November 9th to November 19th.  Here is the description of the individual they are looking for:

"“[ORIN] 30s to mid 40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he’s a brilliant strategist, he’s pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He’s truly one of the strongest personalities ever…”"

If that isn’t Negan, then I don’t know what is.  And the timing would be great.  Having him appear in the season 6 finale would be a great tease for season 7 and leave fans hungry and wanting more.  This casting decision could be one of the biggest calls that the show ever makes.  If done properly, Negan could be one of the best characters to ever appear on the show.

The Walking Dead returns for season 6 on October 11, 2015.  Whether or not it will have Negan has yet to be seen, but let’s be honest…we’re all going to be watching anyway.
