The Walking Dead: AMC seeking actors to play zombies

Have you ever thought about being a zombie on AMC’s hit drama series The Walking Dead? Now is your acting opportunity thanks to an open casting call.

The Walking Dead is the most popular film on television, and when AMC expanded the zombie universe to include the companion series Fear The Walking Dead, the need for cast and crew members increased. Now, there is an opportunity for some of those with the dream of being on the hit show to get their opportunity.

According to a Facebook post on the Extras Casting Atlanta account, the show is looking for a specific kind of individuals to become walkers in upcoming episodes of AMC’s apocalyptic programs.

"Upcoming we are looking for some specialty extras — ONLY SUBMIT if you fit the following:MUST BE 18 and overMUST BE VERY SLIM – Guys 32 waist and smaller — Girls size 0-2 onlyLooking specifically for large eyes, thin faces, small noses and long slender necks – Hair color isn’t super important — guys must be willing to be clean shaven.If you fit the above email at least two clear recent photos, all clothing sizes, height and weight and all contact info: ECAtvExtras@gmail.com"

If you meet the qualifications listed above and have a passion for being on the show, it is highly recommended that you apply. This could be a great opportunity for a young actor or actress to get a start in the industry or be a part of a program that means a lot to many people around the world.

One of The Walking Dead‘s most famous walker actors, Stephen Vining, posted on his Facebook fan page about the opportunity and encouraged anyone interested and fitting the description to apply for a chance to join him on the set of television’s hottest program.
