The Walking Dead issue #156 sneak peek panel released

The Walking Dead will release issue 156 of the hit comic book series titled ‘Queen and King’ on July 6, 2016. Here are some preview panels from that comic.

Image Comics and Skybound have been doing an excellent job keeping the popular comic book series The Walking Dead interesting and exciting. With the craziness surrounding recent issues, there’s no telling what could happen next.

Thankfully, fans of the comics will get a little taste of what issue 156 titled “Queen and King” has to offer a little early. Thanks to a one-page preview from the issue scheduled to be available in stores and digitally on July 6, 2016 a little of the interaction between a popular survivor and a different group is on display.

As you can see, this issue will show how Negan will attempt to fit in with The Whisperers following his escape from the jail cell in Alexandria. After seeing his awkward interactions with Alpha and Beta in previous issues, it is interesting that he seems to be happy trying to fit in among the brutal group.

The Whisperers don’t seem to be fully accepting Negan at this point, and the group is still keeping pretty quiet around him. While they are always a quiet group (hence the name), they still allowed him to sit down with them for a meal.

The final preview panel is the most interesting. Is Beta showing some jealousy toward Negan? Or has Alpha been ordered away from the two so they can engage in conversation or something else?

“Queen and King” as the title of this issue is an even bigger question mark. While it can be assumed that the queen is Alpha, but who is the king in this situation? Is it Beta? Or is Negan the new king?
