Here’s Negan to get extended run for The Walking Dead villain backstory
By Adam Carlson
Fans curious about the history of Negan will learn even more about The Walking Dead villain thanks to an extended run of the Here’s Negan comic series.
There is no denying that Negan is one of the most intriguing characters on AMC’s The Walking Dead. Ever since his introduction in the season 6 finale, fans have gone wild both hating and loving the leader of The Saviors.
However, readers of the popular comic book series have been able to experience much more of the man from The Sanctuary since the written material is quite a distance ahead of the timeline on the television show.
While many fans are looking to the future, Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment surprised many people when they revealed Here’s Negan, a series of short comics included in the IMAGE+ magazine which explains the rocky past of the villain.

Here is what was said in response to a person named Sean asking about Negan in the questions section:
"“This is your semi-annual reminder to check on the Here’s Negan story in IMAGE+ magazine. It’s going to run 16 installments in total, Charlie’s drawing the hell out of it, and it had a guy named Sean pissing tears.”"
So far, much has been revealed about the past of Negan in the Here’s Negan series, including his past occupation, what happened with his wife, the origin of Lucille, and much more. So, if you are a fan of the quick-witted and foul-mouthed villain, it is highly recommended that you check out this series.
