Issue 162 of The Walking Dead doesn’t come out until January 4, 2017, but plenty of fans are worried about the future of their favorite characters as the bloody and destructive war against The Whisperers comes to a close.

Many lives have been taken already and a community of survivors has been burned to the ground. But the sixth and final installment of the series has the potential to be the bloodiest and most brutal of all of them.

Thankfully, fans are once again treated to a page of panels to tease the upcoming issue. Here is the preview page for The Walking Dead issue 162 as shared on the twitter account of artist Charlie Adlard:

It appears as though Negan and Dwight might get separated in this issue. Or at least that is what he is requesting or stating here. Dwight had told Rick that he would keep an eye on the former leader of The Saviors, and not doing do may not sit well with Alexandria’s top dog.

The middle panel shows some members of The Kingdom seemingly very surprised by something that they see. They have halted their horses, and look as though they are already exhausted from a previous activity.

Finally, the last panel has Eugene arriving. In the previous issue, he said he was going to travel through the dark of night to deliver a cart of weapons and ammunition to the survivors to use in their fight. It seems he will get there, but will he have the cart full of goods he left the factory with?

All these panels raise more questions than they answer, which is great for a tease. After looking at these panels, it is difficult not to get even more excited about reading The Walking Dead issue 162: ‘The Whisperer War Part 6 of 6’ when it hits stores and is available digitally on January 4, 2017.
