Buffy star Emma Caulfield confirmed to join Fear The Walking Dead
By Sonya Iryna
AMC has confirmed that Emma Caulfield will join the cast of Fear The Walking Dead in Season 3. The Buffy alum should make Season 3 the most exciting yet.
Fear The Walking Dead struggled a little to find solid footing. There was a lot of initial excitement when the show premiered. That tapered off as fans were unsure what direction the spinoff of The Walking Dead was taking. The first season and the first half of the second season were a little rough.
But in the back half of season 2 Fear The Walking Dead finally hit a steady stride. The story development that centered on Nick finding La Colonia and Luciana took shape. Madison was reunited with Travis.
And in the season finale Nick and Luciana led the people of La Colonia over the border. There they came across some not so friendly militia members guarding the border.
Could Emma Caulfield’s role be connected to Nick and Luciana’s storyline? Or does her role intersect with Ofelia’s story arc? Ofelia also made it to the border before the season ended. She was captured by possibly the same militia that was guarding the border crossing.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Emma Caulfield is best known for her role as Anya on the cult classic Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Anya was a recurring character throughout the first four seasons of the show. She became a full cast member in season 5.
Anya was never intended to become a regular part of the cast. But her struggle to understand human emotions and how to appropriately express them was popular with the audience. And it gave the writers the chance to have the other characters explore their emotions.
