Issue 167 of The Walking Dead comic book series looks to be one of the most interesting and heartbreaking issues ever. Don’t miss the release date!

Fans of The Walking Dead comic book series have to be pacing back and forth after reading the March issue. Two big situations were left in limbo and both of them could have deadly consequences for major characters.

Still, patience will have to be a key for comic readers. The series has returned to releasing only one issue per month, meaning that the next installment won’t be released until May. But judging from the story, it should be worth the wait.

Readers can look forward to having physical or digital copies of the issue in their hands on the official released date for issue 167, which is May 3, 2017.

Titled ‘A Certain Doom’, the issue features cover art from Charlie Adlard showing Rick Grimes and Andrea sharing an intimate moment in what appears to be a very sad time for these two characters while inside one of the homes in Alexandria.

The episode description doesn’t offer much hope for fans praying for a happy ending. Here is the synopsis for issue 167:

"“Is it possible, could it be, that the inevitable can somehow be… avoided? Rick and Andrea have a tough decision to make.”"

Whether this is talking about Andrea possibly dying or the revolt from The Saviors has yet to be seen, but either way, something big is brewing in the zombie apocalypse.
