By Adam Carlson
What is the release date for issue 168 of The Walking Dead comic book series titled ‘The Road’s End’ and what else is known about the June installment?
Following a heartbreaking issue of The Walking Dead in May, fans are now looking forward to the June installment of the series to find out what is next for Rick Grimes and the other survivors of Alexandria, The Hilltop, The Kingdom, and The Sanctuary.
It will be hard to follow up what happened in ‘A Certain Doom’, but life must go on in Robert Kirkman’s zombie apocalypse, and there is still a lot left to be resolved outside of the hugely emotional moments.
Fans won’t have long to wait to find out how Rick and Dwight will work their way out of the situation with The Saviors, as the release date for issue 168 is early in June. In fact the release date for ‘The Road’s End’ is June 7, 2017!

Strangely enough, the cover for the issue features several characters kneeling before Negan, including one who has already died in a previous issue. However, the covers not always relate directly to the story in the comics.
Here is the description for ‘The Road’s End”:
“Nothing is more damaging than misplaced trust.”
Who that applies to and who the individual being trusted is has yet to be seen, but if it follows what is happening on the cover, the dynamic of the zombie apocalypse might be about to change once again.
