Plus, our favorite characters should be in dangerous situations very soon with so many threats in the zombie apocalypse.

For those unfamiliar with Image Expo thinking it is just another convention for comic book fans, this might not be what you expect. While there is some casual appeal for fans, this might be something a little more serious and in-depth comic readers will appreciate.

"“IMAGE EXPO is an all-day event for fans, the retailer community, and the press to experience a showcase of exciting Image Comics announcements. IMAGE EXPO 2018 will feature a line-up of some of the hottest names in comics and offers a unique experience for fans to have unprecedented access to the writers and artists behind their favorite comic books at exclusive autograph sessions and comic-focused programming. While Kirkman’s attendance could be the highlight for many fans, it is the announcement of a new project from Rick Remender that should have people lined up. Remender has made some excellent franchises in recent history, including Deadly ClassBlack Science, and Seven to Eternity, with Deadly Class being picked up by SyFy for a possible show coming soon.

General admission for the event is $25 with premium tickets available for $100 which include a tote bag, boxed lunch, 3 variant comics, pint glass, pin, and priority seating at panels and events at the Expo.
