Cover analysis: The Walking Dead issue 178 ‘New World Order Part 4 of 6’
By Adam Carlson
Check out the cover for the April 2018 issue of The Walking Dead where Princess appears to be having some major issues with soldiers from The Commonwealth.
The Walking Dead comic book series has been changing the narrative at a breakneck pace with the introduction of new allies, a new community, and several new revelations that could change the scope of the story forever.
Two of the biggest developments so far have been the introduction of a new character called Princess and the reveal of a new community that is unlike anything readers have seen before called The Commonwealth.
Recently, the official website of The Walking Dead released the cover for the April 2017 issue and it shows Princess in a bad situation among some of the new faces from The Commonwealth. Check out the cover here:
Even after only knowing Princess for a short time, it is pretty easy to see why she can rub people the wrong way. Her inability to take almost anything seriously and constant need to be the focus attention could make anyone impatient or upset with her.
However, one group that she doesn’t want upset with her is The Commonwealth. And it appears as though the new additions to the story may not see eye-to-eye on at least one major issue in the new community.
