15th Anniversary covers revealed for The Walking Dead issues #177-179

The Bill Sienkiewicz 15th Anniversary variant covers for The Walking Dead issue 177, 178, and 179 feature Carl Grimes, The Governor, and Andrea.
Readers of The Walking Dead comic book were in for a huge treat when the popular zombie survival series announced that there would be variant covers for the issues released during the 15th anniversary.
The situation got even better when it was revealed that Bill Sienkiewicz would be the artist doing the covers and the January and February 2018 covers would feature Rick Grimes and Michone in his unique art style.
Now, the covers for issues 177, 178, and 179 have been announced for March, April, and May and have been shared by The Nerdist. Check them out there:

Collectors of all the variant covers should be more than pleased with his artwork and will definitely want to contact their local comic book retailer to reserve copies of the 15th Anniversary covers.

First, the March issue with The Governor gives the big baddie a look of a huge villain mixed with the bravado and confidence of Snake Plissken or Solid Snake. The eyepatch only adds to the impact of the artwork, making it a great look at a former character.
April features Andrea on the cover. The bright white background and haze of the cover make her look angelic while her closed eyes are a reminder of the impact that the characters and readers felt when she passed on.
Finally, Carl Grimes graces the May 2018 cover and looks like something out of an INXS music video. His long hair and wounded eye are in full view while there is blood splattered on his face. The blood matches the color of his lips and area around his eyes.
