What can be learned by analyzing the cover of issue 179 of The Walking Dead comic book series titled ‘New World Order Part 5 of 6’ released in May of 2018?
The New World Order storyline in The Walking Dead comic book series has been full of twists and turns that leave fans in anticipation of finding out what direction the plot is heading in the 6 part series.
In May of 2018, the fifth part of the story will be released. Considering everything that has been happening in the comics to this point, odds are that the positive vibes being spread by the previous issues are bound to come crashing back to earth.
Let’s take a look at the cover of The Walking Dead issue 179 titled ‘New World Order Part 5 of 6’ as shared on the Image Comics website:
The cover features Eugene, who appears to be either on his knees or sitting on the ground with Michonne’s sword on his back while one of the armored soldiers from The Commonwealth has a gun at the ready.
To make the situation even scarier, the synopsis for the upcoming issue doesn’t give much real hope that everything will work out in the end.

That doesn’t mean that someone will be killed. There is a chance that Michonne will stay behind to spend time with daughter after they were recently reunited. Or maybe it is Eugene who wants to stick by Stephanie after she was disrespected by Lance Hornsby during the welcoming parade.
