Fandemic Tour wrapped up its inaugural event in Sacramento this weekend and from the look of things, everyone had a lot of fun at the three-day event!

Fans of The Walking Dead were buzzing about the Fandemic Tour in Sacramento this weekend. It’s the first event for the newest pop culture extravaganza on the convention circuit, and its emphasis on fan experience and celebrity interaction were a big hit with guests in attendance.

The Saturday schedule was packed with the undead, including panels featuring Chandler Riggs and Michael Rooker, along with some surprise guests. Fans who signed up for autographs and photo ops took pictures with members of The Walking Dead cast, past and present, and they shared their posts on social media.

Naturally, Norman Reedus made a big entrance:

Fans who purchased photo ops had a great time interacting with cast members:

Fandemic Tour is a welcome addition to the convention circuit. It doesn’t replace existing conventions, rather it provides another opportunity for fans to meet celebrities in a celebration of pop culture and the fandoms we love. The other added benefit to another convention added to the mix is that more conventions mean more locations to reach fans who might not be able to travel far and wide. With expansion on the horizon in the future, Fandemic Tour will continue to grow.

Next up for the Fandemic Tour is a stop in Houston September 14-16. Many of the celebrity guests who appeared in Sacramento will return for Houston, including Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. With those two in attendance, fans of The Walking Dead are guaranteed to have a great time deep in the heart of Texas.
