5 predictions for issue 185 of The Walking Dead comics: On Guard

What is going to happen in issue 185 of The Walking Dead comics when it is released? Here are some predictions for the Nov. 2018 issue titled “On Guard”.

The world of The Walking Dead is getting more complicated every day. With internal struggles and some new external factors out there, surviving the zombie apocalypse gets even more complex with each passing issue.

On Nov. 7, a new installment of the story will be released titled “On Guard” which should keep the story moving ahead while adding and resolving some issues survivors are having. But what will those issues be and what will happen?

Here are five predictions for the upcoming issue. Keep in mind that these are based on nothing more than the story to this point and the preview panels which were recently released by Skybound.

1. Things come together at The Commonwealth. People see Rick working with people as well as Pamela following suit and start to think a bit better about their community. While they haven’t forgotten the fatal beating of the man whose wife cheated on him, it’s a step in the right direction.
2. Rick finally says to Dwight what he means. Rick has been playing nice, ignoring everything that Dwight has been doing since he has been so angry. Now that Dwight wants to work with The Commonwealth away from Rick, the Grimes patriarch finally says what he has wanted to say a for while: that he doesn’t trust Dwight anymore.
3. Michonne continues to stick around. She’s taken a beating and a job she doesn’t love in order to be with her daughter and will continue to make that sacrifice, even though Rick and the others would love to have her back in their communities.
4. Like mother like…nope. While The Commonwealth is trying to heal and Pamela is trying to improve her image, one person is having none of that. Sebastian continues to harass and belittle the people he sees to be beneath him…and that’s just about everyone except his mommy.
5. A big finish. At the end of the issue, the communities are simultaneously surrounded by groups from The Commonwealth after learning their strengths, weaknesses, and capabilities. With leaders gone, this is a time for many of the communities to be very afraid.
