The absence of a character in The Walking Dead issue 190 is fishy

Issue 190 of The Walking Dead comics featured a lot of action and drama, but the fact one character remained in the background might be extremely dangerous.

Things seem volatile at the Commonwealth following issue 190 of The Walking Dead comics. Nearly every character has their life in danger as Pamela as a group of soldiers ready to attack Rick and the group she sees as a major threat to her position of power in the community.

With all the chaos happening in the streets and behind closed doors, including the arrival of even more reinforcements from the Hilltop, there is one character who played a major role in the previous issue who was noticeably absent.

It was a bit shock to see Tara move to the background after instigating the explosive release of Mercer from his holding cell. She orchestrated the events which led to not only the confrontation in the streets but also helped to draw walkers to their civilization thanks to the smoke and noise,

There is only one logical explanation for what is happening. Tara has to be so upset over what happened with Dwight that she is just watching what is happening with Rick in hopes of getting some sort of revenge or at least feel something after everything she’s lost in the past.

She hasn’t come out and specifically blamed Rick for anything, especially since she knows Dwight could be an emotional and erratic firecracker at times. However, the fact Tara wasn’t fighting walkers in the street or trying to rationally talk to Mercer or Rick is a telling sign that she’s nowhere near ready to forgive anyone for Dwight’s death.

It’s possible she may have run off after she instigated the chaos in the Commonwealth, but that doesn’t quite seem like her style. She would want to watch the payoff for her actions and know Dwight got some kind of retribution.
