10. Tobias from Fear The Walking Dead

Tobias is a small character only featured in a couple of episodes in season 1 of Fear The Walking Dead, yet fans still talk about him to this day. His fate is unknown, we never see him die or hear anything about his death. The reason why fans are so interested in knowing about this character is because of his intelligence.

Tobias knows from the very start that this isn’t something small that is going away. In fact, the last words viewers ever hear from him is, “This doesn’t end.” This teenager is smarter than anyone we have seen from this universe across all forms of The Walking Dead. So seeing this icon walk off-screen and never come back is a crime!

Since Tobias was a character we met at the very start of the apocalypse the possibilities of what Robert Kirkman could do with him are vast and endless. He could die at the start of everything protecting his family, he could be dominating what is left of California as a new president, and everything in between.

A one-shot comic of Tobias detailing how such an intelligent survivor navigates the beginning of the end would be a fascinating nail-biter. We have seen time and time again people struggle to face what happens to the world but we never get to see someone who seems to have an understanding from the start, own the apocalypse.
