Joe Beef is a James Beard award-nominated restaurant in Montreal. The restaurant’s partners Frédéric Morin and David McMillan have paired up again for their second cookbook all about how to survive the apocalypse. They added Meredith Erikson, one of the first servers at Joe Beef, to co-write the book. They even joke on their website that they would’ve included a DIY mask guide if they knew about the eventual pandemic. This cookbook isn’t specific to a zombie apocalypse, but it still has relevant information like storing a pantry for your bunker, making your soap and cough drops. Along with 150 recipes, you’ll be able to ride out the pandemic or apocalypse in style with the Québécois dishes to enjoy.
