The Walking Dead actor, Norman Reedus, has been acting since the 90s, starring in everything from music videos to a diverse list of films and series. It was announced today that he has been chosen for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2022 and will receive his much-deserved star on the Walk of Fame.

He came on the scene of The Walking Dead as the better half of the Dixon brothers, Daryl, in the second episode of the series. Now that series is entering its eleventh season, and Daryl is still going strong. Reedus has had been involved in many projects besides The Walking Dead during its 10+ years, but he has remained devoted to that character that so many fans adore.

In true Reedus fashion, he gives thanks to his fans for all their support in the Tweet below.

What else is Norman Reedus doing now?

Norman Reedus is the type of person who never lets the grass grow under his feet. He is constantly busy with his family, businesses, and multiple careers, but he never seems to let it go to his head. He is a down-to-earth person who will take the time to talk to his fans and pose for endless selfies with them.  With his devotion to his fans and his craft, he is someone fans can relate to, making him a favorite with TWDFamily.

It was recently announced that Reedus started a production company, bigbaldhead. This company has many projects in the pipeline, including a TV adaptation of the 80s cult horror film Sorority House Massacre. He has also partnered with AMC in the adaptation of the novel Neglected Murderesses by Edward Gorey. Another cult classic, Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! will also be adapted as a revamped TV series.

On July 18, 2021, Reedus will join Anthrax as they celebrate their 40th Anniversary. This live-stream event will feature an all-star line-up including Reedus and other celebs Chuck D, Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl, Dave Mustaine, Gary Holt, Gene Simmons, Henry Rollins, John Carpenter, Kerry King, Mike Patton, Nergal, Michael Poulsen, Rob Zombie, Robert Trujillo, Roger Miret, Darryl McDaniels, Slash and Tom Morello.

His AMC series Ride with Norman Reedus is another project he is passionate about, and fans enjoy seeing this side of him with his special guests traveling the world. There is the Carol and Daryl spinoff series that will be coming once the flagship series is complete.

Those are just some of the things that keep Norman Reedus busy and helped him receive the recognition of his own star on the Walk of Fame.
