Recently AMC, Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics announce that The Art of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe book would be released in September. With that announcement, they left the cover art a mystery. Now the cover art has been released, and it is amazing.
Featured on the cover are many of the fan-favorite characters from TWDU. It is great to see representation from all three of the series in the franchise – The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond. This marks the first time all three of AMC’s TWD series are featured in the same artwork.
The artwork for the cover is by Brian Rood (Star Wars and Transformers), and the colors and artwork do justice to the amazing stories in this franchise. Rood has included 50 cast members and many walkers to create a piece of memorabilia worthy of TWDU.
