Where to watch The Walking Dead: Origins?

The Walking Dead: Origins can be viewed on AMCs paid streaming service, AMC+ exclusively. The schedule is as follows:

Daryl’s Story – Thursday, July 15
Maggie’s Story – Thursday, July 22
Negan’s Story – Thursday, July 29
Carol’s Story – Thursday, August 5

The first episode will feature Daryl Dixon, who is played by Norman Reedus. Daryl entered the story in 103 “Tell it to the Frogs,” and since that introduction, the character has undergone much growth and is barely recognizable from season 1 until now. Reedus has the record for most episodes at 129 of the 147 total for the series.

Maggie’s story will be told in the 2nd episode. Lauren Cohen plays the character, and we were introduced to Maggie in 202 “Bloodletting.” We first see her at the farmhouse of her father, Hershel. She makes quite an entrance when she rides into the clearing wacks a walker with a baseball bat while still on the horse. This is the first time Glenn sees her, and I believe it was love at first sight. This character has also gone through many changes over the years, especially once she witnessed Negan’s killing of her beloved husband, Glenn.

The other three stories involve characters who entered the series in seasons 1 and 2, but the third episode will feature Negan, who didn’t get introduced until the season 6 finale, “Last Day on Earth.” Jeffrey Dean Morgan has brought one of the iconic comic book characters to life and has done so successfully. His look and actions are everything they should be to do justice to Negan.

Carol’s story will air last in the series and is played by Melissa McBride. We first met Carol in 103. “Tell it to the Frogs.”  Carol is the most changed character of the series who has also experienced the most hurt and heartbreak. She didn’t let this overcome her but used that pain to become a leader and take charge kind of gal. She is a relentless badass and will stop at nothing once her mind is set on a task.
