The second Walking Dead spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, will release on October 3. This announcement was made at Comic-Con@Home in July, along with the release of the first look teaser for the second season. Max Osinski and Gissette Valentin will join the cast, and Deadline has reported that Anna Khaja will also join the series.

Khaja plays a mother named Indira, an intelligent and artistic leader who will do what it takes to protect her family. She is known for her roles in The Boys, Quantico, The Good Place and Silicon Valley. She wrote and starred in the off-Broadway production Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto.

The second season is also the final for what has always been promoted as a limited series.

The second and final season of TWD World Beyond will consist of 10 episodes to wrap up this series.

The teaser shows us that Will informs Felix and Iris that the Omaha Colony is no more. He was told that a horde of walkers made their way through, killing everyone, but viewers know the truth, the CRM assassinated everyone.

Fans of the flagship series are hoping that Rick Grimes will either be mentioned in this series or will make an appearance. My money is on a mention. Rick was taken by a CRM helicopter after the bridge explosion, and Jadis/Anne is the one who summoned the helicopter via walkie. She mentions having a B as a captive, and in one scene of World Beyond, we see humans being experimented on with labels A and B.

There has been a lot of information stating that this series will give us more information about the group that took Rick.

In an interview with InsiderTWDU content chief officer Scott Gimple had this to say:

"We find out a lot about the people who ostensibly have the helicopter that Rick Grimes was ferried away on. You find out a lot about those people."

Next. AMC and AMC+ Walking Dead release dates, let’s clear up the confusion. dark

We have heard little morsels regarding the promised movies, so here’s hoping when The Walking Dead: World Beyond airs its final episode on December 5, we at least hear something about Rick Grimes.
