The Walking Dead series has finally cast the man who killed Rick Grimes in the comics. Sebastian Milton, the son of the Commonwealth governor Pamela Milton, will finally appear in the series. Rick is nowhere to be found, so he is safe, but will another main character get his comic death?

In the comics, Sebastian is a spoiled and lazy guy who used his mother’s position as his stepping stone to everything. He doesn’t do much actual work but feels he is an essential part of the Commonwealth and feels superior to everyone else.

Sebastian kills Rick by shooting him in the chest. He goes to jail for his crime and even years later is still hated by the community members for his crime.

Whether or not his series counterpart will have the same personality and role in the story is yet to be seen.

Teo Rapp-Olsson will play Milton’s character. He is known for his roles in The Deuce, Blue Bloods, Bull, Law & Order Special Victims Unit, Z: The Beginning of Everything and I love you…But I Lied.

It was previously announced the Laila Robins would portray Pamela Milton in the series. She is Sebastian’s mother and leader of the Commonwealth.

We have met Lance Hornsby, who Josh Hamilton plays. He is the one who seems to be willing to help Eugene get out of his trouble with violating Commonwealth laws by radioing Alexandria.

All three of these characters are iconic comic book characters that fans have been waiting to see in the series. Now that the Commonwealth arc is here, it is great to see these roles cast along with Mercer (Michael James Shaw), who is already a fan favorite.

Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura) has taken on a version of Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) Commonwealth storyline, with fans speculating about who will take Rick’s death in the arc. It is the final season, so anything goes.

It is yet to see if the Commonwealth will be a friend or foe to Alexandria and its residents. The whole community seems overly orchestrated and staged to be a perfect place to live.
