The Walking Dead season 11 episode 7

Cracks are forming in the Reapers armor and the Commonwealth’s facade in this week’s The Walking Dead: Things To Note!

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!

Business is picking up in The Walking Dead.

First, we saw Maggie and Negan reach something resembling an accord. Maggie agreed to “call off the hit” against Negan in exchange for his help getting rid of the Reapers. This truce opens the door for them to finally get on the same page.

Second, we saw what looked like cracks appearing in the Reapers, both in their cohesion and their image as this frightening cadre of warriors. I don’t mean that they aren’t warriors, but this is the first time we’ve seen them seem afraid. That means that combating them may not prove as impossible as Negan thinks it is.

And, lastly, we saw the veneer of hospitality and benevolence of the Commonwealth begin to peel away. We saw firsthand both the classism of the upper levels of the community and the underhandedness of the higher levels of their bureaucracy.

But, there was more. All of the things I’ve mentioned here were very obvious, but what about the other things? The things that weren’t so obvious? All of the hints, clues, references, and trivia that could easily get overlooked, I went back and looked for as many as I could find and brought them together here, so you don’t have to go searching for them.

Are you ready? It’s time for this week’s installment of The Walking Dead: Things To Note!
