Norman Reedus as Ghost Rider? Will he join the MCU?

In July 2021, Norman Reedus told Comicbook.com, “The Ghost Rider conversation has been coming up for years, and yeah, tell them to put me in it, I want to play Ghost Rider.”  There have been unconfirmed reports that he is in talks with Marvel, but there has been no official word from Reedus regarding this.

Reedus’ fans are in full support of the possibility of this casting. Twitter is abuzz with fanart and posts supporting Reedus’ portray Ghost Rider. Other actors mentioned as possibles to play the role have been Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves and Gabriel Luna, who portrayed Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider in the fourth season of Agents S.H.I.E.L.D.

There has been nothing official announced about a return of Ghost Rider, but fans and Reedus would love to see this happen. We will continue to watch for any new information regarding Reedus joining the MCU.

Norman Reedus has played Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead since season one, and he will have a spin-off series with Melissa McBride, who plays Carol Peletier, after the main series ends in 2022. It has been reported that his cult classic film Boondock Saints will finally film its third movie.

The third film in the Boondock Saints series has been confirmed and disputed many times, but it seems this time things will be moving forward. Deadline recently reported that Todd Myers’ Dragonfly Films is financing the film, and Reedus and Sean Patrick Flannery will executive produce with Nat McCormick and Myers.

Reedus and Flannery will reprise their roles as the MacManus brothers, who were in prison for their crimes last we saw. The third film will pick up as they are released from prison. There have been no other casting announcements for this film, but it will be interesting to see who else will be involved in this film.

Many years have passed since the MacManus brothers were on the outside, and things have changed during those years. How will they reacclimate to civilian life?
