When does Fear the Walking Dead return in 2022?

The Walking Dead universe is in for a massive 2022. The Walking Dead series will air its final episode before the year is over. Tales of the Walking Dead started filming and will air its first episode in the summer. The hope is that The Walking Dead movies will finally start filming. Fear the Walking Dead will release the second half of its seventh season and see the return of a major character.

In December 2021, Fear the Walking Dead relocated its filming location from Austin, Texas, to Savannah, Georgia. This decision was based on tax credits the series receives by filming in Georgia.

The series has also been renewed for an eighth season, which is exciting news for fans.

Fear the Walking Dead release date

AMC will release the midseason premiere of Fear TWD on April 17. This episode will air the week after The Walking Dead airs the final episode of season 11B. As with the flagship series, AMC+ will air Fear TWD episodes one week early.

Fear the Walking Dead Madison to return

Kim Dickens, who played Madison Clark on Fear TWD from the first episode until season four, announced her character’s return on an episode of Talking Dead. The fan support of her return has been outstanding, and all wishing for her return couldn’t be happier.

This return will significantly change the series as her daughter Alicia has declared war on her friend Victor Strand. Where will Madison stand on this division? One would think she would side with her daughter, but Madison likes to be in control of situations. She is prone to become uncertain when her family is in danger. But, we have no idea what she had endured during her absence.

What would keep her away from her family? She isn’t aware that Nick has been killed and would assume that Nick and Alicia are together. It will be interesting to see how she is written back into the storyline.

Alicia declared war on Strand during the midseason finale and has Morgan on her side, but where will the other sit in this altercation? Many of their mutual friends have taken refuge in Strands Tower, but they would be more likely to be loyal to Alicia if Strand wasn’t in charge of their current residence.

The second half of season seven will be a wild ride, and viewers can’t wait for Madison’s return.
